France please let me love you – part 5

last summer greetings from the gardens of Monnet in Giverny, a small city in the Normandie..


My mom was with me in the beginning of september.. and we went on a bike tour to Giverny!
It was my second tour with fat tire bike tours (first was to Versailles) and again, it was a total success!!











it was like meeting his paintings in real life.. really amazing!




(My fiance hates those pants... says they look like the pants of a painter.. well, they go perfectly with the location the i guess)








This was his house.. and for a romantic, flower fanatic girly girl like me defenitively a dream house!!!







it was a lovely day, with lovely weather, lovely people, lovely gardens and flowers and my most lovely mom, who i love so much!!!

sick and out

Today we had -10°C!!!
No wonder I am sick!!!!
But despite my sickness I still went out to have breakfast with my lovely Kathleen.. just couldn't miss it!!!
Now I am in bed again, waiting for my cold to pass, feeling stressed like almost every single day of the last three months but still fine.. al hamdoulilah!

home sweet home

I am back home.. al hamdoulilah!!!
Mr Handsome came to pick me up from the train station and he was obviously still very very tired.. not so surprising at a cold, snowy morning like this..


Now I am at my moms appartment updating you and looking forward to start with a new Abaya-project I have been dreaming of since the last weeks..

My Style - Part 2

That is how I do dress everywhere else.. As outergarment I prefer black Abayat, I think they are just very classy and you can combine them with everything. The most Abayat I have I did myself since I find it very hard to find nice ones for sale... and by sewing them myself I can adjust the pattern and be creative as much as I want.


I had once a coloured abaya which was quite pretty but I just dont feel comfortable in it..
I felt like a walking piece of candy.. hehehe

Vacation... how calming you are for my soul

I just returned from Paris.. and from Lyon... and all I can say is:
THANK YOU, YOU MADE ME VERY HAPPY!

I've been in Paris before, the first time when my plane from brazil got broken and I had to spend one night in Paris.. It was a lovely night... visiting paris at night by taxi, but thats a story ill tell later.. maybe.
Second time was one day of shopping with my classmates when visiting our french partner universitys in november last year.
But this time was special... being in the city of love surrounded by people you love and that love you back is always special I guess.

I was surrounded 24/7 by wonderful people that loved and cherished me, that made me happy and cared for me.

The one who let me share these lovely days with her.. I loved every second with her!

I spend some very amazing days relaxing in Lyon too... speechless..

Now I am back to everydays life, I am happy to see the ocean again but sad to have left people I love.. but I guess thats how life goes and Inshallah Ill be back very soon..
