Movie: I don't know how she does it

I just watched Sara Jesicca Parkers new movie "I don't know how she does it"

It's about a working mom who tries to combine her family life with her career and by doing so she almost looses her family until she realises that she need to cut back on her career to save her family and marriage.



It's actually a quite basic story and probably a bit too dramatic.

Personally I would never want to live a life like that and I am more than happy to have a husband who totaly supports me in that!
I want to be a stay at home mom and i strongly believe that's my responsibility in this life.
My own mom didn't have the choice after my father became sick. So if we will be one day in financial need sure I will work to support my family. But inshallah that will never happen and all of us stay inshallah healthy and ok so that i can fulfill what I see as my responsibility. To be a woman, a wife and a mom.

And once again, my dear wonderful husband, thank you so so much for beeing with me and supporting me always!

Up In The Air

It's about this man who believes in letting go, leaving everything behind, specially people you might get attached too.
He tries to push everything and everybody away to feel light and independent.. and in the end has to realize that that isn't such a nice feeling.

The thing i love about him though is that he only owns the things that fit in his luggage, nothing else! And thats something that makes me envie him.. but nobody is perfect i guess..

A Single Man by Tom Ford

While I was back home during my vacations I went to the movies with my favorite cousine. I didn't really care about which movie we were going to see so she chose "a single man" from Tom Ford.

And I have to say it was one of the best movies I have seen in a long long time!!!
The story is about a gay may (colin firth) who looses his partner in a car accident and he cannot get over it. He decides to kill himself but somehow can't di it and in the end he dies on a heart attack.
So the story might not be the most exciting thing about the movie but it's just like the movie was a piece of life..
It's very quiet and very arty, using amazing pictures and fashion!
I loved every second, every scene, every picture and specially every outfit!

not particularly because of it's story but more because of the fashion!
It's pure honey for my eyes.. and it's very french chic...

We do all have our traditions, our certain rituals that make us feel the same again and again, every single time we celebrate them...
One of my yearly traditions since about 4 or 5 years now is simply a movie!
Every year on christmas time we watch that movie at least once a year.
Though it was always the same movie, the feelings and emotions we had and still have watching that particular movie never faded..
and still we all have our favorite couples, our favorite situations and those special moments that make us cry every single year again and again...
Can't waite this years christmas to come to be finally with my loved ones..

it is actually love...
