France please let me love you – part 5

last summer greetings from the gardens of Monnet in Giverny, a small city in the Normandie..


My mom was with me in the beginning of september.. and we went on a bike tour to Giverny!
It was my second tour with fat tire bike tours (first was to Versailles) and again, it was a total success!!











it was like meeting his paintings in real life.. really amazing!




(My fiance hates those pants... says they look like the pants of a painter.. well, they go perfectly with the location the i guess)








This was his house.. and for a romantic, flower fanatic girly girl like me defenitively a dream house!!!







it was a lovely day, with lovely weather, lovely people, lovely gardens and flowers and my most lovely mom, who i love so much!!!

France can be so nice..

Autumn has arrived Paris, one whole month went by with out me updating my blog...
I am half way through my internship and fortunately time seems to pass more quickly, only three months to go.
I am having people coming to visit me and i try to relax and keep myself busy at the same time. in the first months of beeing in paris i felt very bad but now its going better, al hamdoulilah. Maybe because I have realized that I dont need people here to accept me as a citizen, i am only visiting, i am not going to stay here and therefor should try to see only the nice things and dont care about the rest..

I am lucky enough to have found the love of my life and I am more than happy to plan our wedding, we have set the date, booked the hotel, got my brother to do the pictures and now there are just all the other bits and pieces that have to be done before the big wedding day..

I love the rain, the gray sky, the smell of cold air.. I guess I love all the seasons with their special scent and look..

Ill try to express my thoughts more often through that blog, so that later on i can look back and remember more clearly...
