Nothing is forever but Allah

Life keeps us so busy and tries its best to keep us away from remembering the only thing that should be important to us, every single second of our life.
We are worried about the assignments we have to hand in, about a loved one who might be far away or angry or anything..
we might be dreaming for days about a certain thing we want to buy so badly..
we are affraid to fail in this world, but we forget to be affraid to fail in front of Allah!!!
We fell punished by life because of having a cold, having stress or anything else this meaningless..
but do we think about how blessed we are to still be able to walk?
to see this wonderful world outside?
to just have to make a call and hear the voice of the ones you love most?
do you realise that maybe the next time you wake up you wont be able to see anymore?
if you want to move you cant?
if you call your loved ones no one will answer coz there is nobody who yould ever answer you calls anymore?
we take life for granted, we take health for granted and get angry and feel punished for no reason if we get sick or something sad happens to us.
what will happen if we die tomorrow, when Allah asks you why you let this world carry you away from praising and pleasing Him alone?
Why you felt punished and ungrateful when he had blesses your life with so many wonderful things you were just so used to that you couldnt see them?
Imagine you would know you would die tomorrow, would you feel prepared?
or would you feel scared coz you are affraid you havent done enough to please Allah?

You think I am over-dramatic?
You never know what Allah has prepared for you.
You never know if tomorrow will be another day in your life.
If tomorrow you will have to let someone go or if you will be the one leaving this world forever...
I had three cousins who didnt reached the age of five..
one cousin who died in his mid twenties..
and my father who had to leave at the age of 35...

Allahu alem, just Allah knows everything,
nothing is forever but Allah
and nothing is for sure except for the fact that to Him we will all return...

Ya Allah,
may You protect us from getting distracted by this world.
may You remind us in every single second of our lifes that there is nothing higher than You and nothing more important than to serve You alone.
and may You be pleased with us and our deeds of worship,
and may You let us enter paradise.

My brother came to stay with me for ten days... yesterday these days were gone by... too fast...

We had such a nice time and the weather was always at our side as you can see...

We went to the beach, to Île du Ré or just spend our time walking through the streets of the city.
